10/27/2009, Luis Tellez, Copano Bay, Fishing Spots, Live Bait:
we had no way to weigh it but it was 44 inches long, black drum, We were at Copano Bay Pier South. My son-in-law, Luis Tellez, caught this 44" drum on the night of 10-24-09 using 20 pound test line, #2 hook, and crab as bait. It took him about 30 minutes to land it. We took a couple of pictures and put it back in the water. This was only like the fourth time in his life that he has been fishing and we always laugh and rag on him because he has never caught anything worth bragging about. Who's laughing now?
